My Family Heritage

For my family heritage, it was kind of hard to figure out what I wanted to do, so I did the birth of me because, why not. In my first picture of my street, where I live now and where my mom was when she was in labor with me, the second picture is where I had to calculate some math because my mom didn’t remember what time she went in to labor with me. All she knew was that she was in labor with me for 14 hours, so I had to figure it out hahahahahahaha. When she was in labor, it started at 8.30 am on December 22, 2004. So I decided to find a picture of me and put it as my mom’s lock screen when I was little to resemble me on that day when I was born. For the third picture, it was hard because I was trying to get a picture of my mom driving, so that you could picture her driving to the hospital from my point of view, but I couldn’t get her in it because she was eating food while she was driving teheeeeeeeee….. anyway  on to the text picture. Runner up, number 4 is a picture of my mom holding me at the exact time that I was born. As you can see, I was born at 5.15pm. Awwww I was so cute. Look at me as a baby. I was so adorable. Last but not least is my birth certificate. When I was born and where, I also felt the need to add my foot prints to it just to add how small my feet were. Like, dang my feet were so small. Thanks for listening guys. I will see ya’ll next year as seniors. Have a great summer.

Ugly Beautiful vs Glorifying Everyday

In my ugly beautiful picture at first I was stuck on what to take a photo of in my neighborhood because I thought there would be nothing ugly, but next to my house, my neighbors just took off their fence and just left it there on the ground, and I thought about how it was a great opportunity for me to get the photo, so I went and laid on the ground and took some shots. The picture was originally in color, but to me, the photo looked better in black and white.

With my glorifying every day, I was in the library to get a book and I saw a table with some chairs and coloring sheets. I moved the chair a little to get the position that I needed and I took a photo of it. Even though this was my least favorite photo, you guys really seem to like the photo and say that it gives off a creepy vibe.

First of all, shout out to Zadrian Blancher because you did a really good job with this photo. It really gives me a dark aesthetic and I don’t know where you chose to take the photo, but it came out really well and the fact that you have it in black and white makes the photo even better in my opinion.

BLIND PHOTOGRAPHY

Hey guys, how is everyone today? During this process, I was scared because I didn’t know what to expect during it or how the picture would come out in the end. In the first picture, I was going off of sound because I heard the wind blowing and the wind was blowing against the trees. In the second photo, I had to choose a spot where I wanted to take the picture and look around so I could get a memory of where everything was and I closed my eyes and started moving and got this picture not knowing that I got someone in the picture. And in the last picture, is the dark lab that I did in class, which I would have to say was very fun and I really enjoyed this lab, which I’ve never done before and I thought it was really cool to do something like this even though the design wasn’t anything special. For this project, I found it somewhat difficult because I didn’t know what I was going to wear. For a second, I was scared that I was going to fall into something and get hurt, but overall, my picture came out cool and I was surprised with my top three and how they came out. This project was fun. I hope to do it again sometime. 10/10 would recommend it.

FRAMED SHOW- CHAD KEYES

Chad Keyes is going out with his friends and taking pictures of them and lots of cool scenery in different places. I find it interesting that the capability of a phone can do wonders for you when taking pictures. I have learned that if I want to take pictures with my phone, I can use the volume button to take the pictures, so it won’t affect your pictures. I would describe the experience as creative because they went to abandoned buildings and nice natural areas to create photos, not even knowing what the places had. Out of all the pictures, I would say the picture below because it gives me a calm and soothing mood and I really like how he included the black and white in the photo.

2021-2022

Hey everyone, how is everyone doing today? In 2021, I’ve learned about photography and received photography tips for better composition, how to blur photos, and the difference between taking and making photos. With my experience with Photoshop this semester, I learned how to blend, remove backgrounds, clone objects, and more. In conclusion, 2021, I would have to say the year was not bad, but it could’ve been better.

Going into the new year, I want to have more confidence in myself and to feel pretty, because last year I didn’t have that much confidence in myself, but that will change this year. Continuing on, I want to start working out and I will take about 30 minutes out of my day to study so I can get the grades I need to make myself proud, because I know I can do it and I will continue to work hard to achieve all of my goals this year.

BEST WORK OF 2021

Since, we are talking about the Best Work of 2021. I’d like to share some of my favorites and tell you why. Well, Let’s start with none other than our former president, Barack Obama. This project showcased the text portrait skill. It was my first time doing this kind of thing, but for a first timer, I DID GOOD RIGHT? haha, Yes!

Christmas is my favorite holiday. Well, it’s the best holiday ever, if I do say so myself. I thought it would be really cute if the little box boy was sitting in the little basket by the Christmas tree shown in the removing backgrounds pt. II project.

The blended project is one of my favorites because of the way it turned out. I really like it, especially since it was my first time trying to do it.

With the cloning project, I thought that the project would be kind of difficult because I had to clone another iPhone next to the first one, but once I figured it out, it was really easy and fun to do.

The fish in iced tea project was interesting because when I saw what it was supposed to look like and watched the video on how to do it, I had some complications, but I would say it came out great and it became one of my favorite projects.

SEEING COLORS

A Cool Guide to Japan - Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto — BARCELONA FOOD EXPERIENCE | Japan photography, Tokyo photography, Aesthetic japan The photograph has some orange, red, and a goldish color in it, and I feel like the colors push towards more of the tertiary color wheel. I really enjoy the colors in the photo because they complement the sensory elements of the picture. The colors in the photo like orange mean curiosity, light red means lust, and gold means spirituality.

Tips for Better Compositions in Your Photos

1. Include a focal point-gives your photo meaning and offers the viewer a place for their eye to rest.

2. Follow the rule of third-an image will look more balanced and aesthetically pleasing if you position important parts of the other scene.

3. Balance the image diagonally-by using the rule of thirds, the main subject creates a more interesting and harmonious composition, but it will leave an empty space. With this, you can balance the weight of the subject by including another object to fill that space.

4. Shot from a lower angle-often found crouching down with your iPhone or even laying down rather than taking it from eye level.

5. Include foreground interest-it gives an image more depth and helps to lead the eye from the front to the back of the photo.

6. Use leading lines: The lines should lean towards the main subject, and usually work better if they run diagonally.

7. Fill the frame-getting closer to your subject so all the surrounding background is eliminated.

8. Leave space for movement-allowing space for your subject to move into creates a more natural and harmonious composition.

9. Frame your subject-using objects in the foreground of a scene to create a frame around the main subject

10.Break the rules-there are no strict rules about what you can and cannot do; don’t let restrictions restrict your creativity.
